Vintage Lexicon LXP-15 v.1.2 (upgradable) tested, works great in Springfield, Manitoba for sale

This legendary reverb became a studio standard since the 80's and still works in many hi-end studios around the globe. It has a very special character that formed a signature sound of numerous artists. Has many presets tailored for various studio situations and instruments, yet every preset can be completely redesigned with advanced parameter editing.
All parameters can be adjusted and automated via MIDI directly from the DAW, presets can be stored within the session file using SysEx messages.
The unit can be integrated as a "hardware plug-in" insert or send effect in most modern DAWs.
Works with the popular Lexicon MRC 4-fader controller.
The system software version is 1.2, it can be upgraded to 2.0. The upgrade makes this processor similar to Lexicon's next model, the "LXP-15 II", which has slightly different reverb algorithms and MIDI control matrix. It might be a question of taste as some producers prefer the "classic" sound of reverbs in Ver. 1.2 over the later ones. The upgrade ROM chip can be found online for $35 + shipping.
This LXP-15 is fully tested and found 100% working. RAM, system, MIDI, memory, audio signal and other tests passed successfully. All controls and display operate well.
External condition is excellent for a vintage studio equipment. It was used in a clean, smoke-free home studio rack since the 2008.
